– principle(s): the way; inspire
Iwant to offer you a gift I got not so long ago. One that almost had me pass out. . .              literally.

As someone passionate to help guide you along the path toward robust health, I'm in pretty good shape.

It's the result of living the science-based max roi health practices I design into simplerfitness.  I refuse to be "all hat and no cattle", as they say down Texas way.

So the other day I'm looking for something on a very high bookshelf. When I went to lever myself up via the end of a nearby couch using my left arm for balance and a bit of lift . . . BOOM! It EXPLODED into a firework of pain!

I just stood there, carefully assessing if I'd need to jump down quickly, just in case I might pass-out.  Seemed like I'd weather it, so I just stood there for what felt like 5 minutes waiting for it to clear.

Ensō is a Japanese word meaning “circle” and a concept strongly associated with Zen. Ensō is one of the most common subjects of Japanese calligraphy even though it is a symbol and not a character. It symbolizes enlightenment, strength, elegance, the Universe, and the void; it can also symbolize the Japanese aesthetic itself. As an “expression of the moment” it is often considered a form of minimalist expressionist art.Wikipedia
So what the heck?? ( Not the fricative that sprang to mind, I'll confess. )

Turned out I'd been running around with a low-grade pain burning away in my shoulder for MONTHS. Meanwhile, I'd had full range of motion and been fully capable of performing nicely challenging freeweights routines.

That explosion of pain? Was a trapped nerve finally releasing having burned away in the back of my mind so long I'd all but forgotten it. Yet once extinguished, the contrast of profound relief I felt compared to what I'd gotten used to was like day from night.

We all do this – run around degraded and unaware we shouldn't be.

  • When we fail to train our bodies meaningfully, we lose how good it feels to strengthen them daily by loving them with gentle discipline.
  • When we fail to get enough sleep, we wander through our days like zombies in a black and white movie when we ought to enjoy our days in colorful vibrancy.
  • When we run around with excess fatI can attest shedding your excess kgs/lbs you drag 'round every day makes you feel wonderful, physically and emotionally. Because its not so many years ago I too had gotten used to being fat. Accepted it, yet never fully.
  • When we eat poorly nutritionally, we get these shadowed food junkie hits of pleasure that are gone 5 minutes after we eat it. But the way I now eat? My body rings with joy at being truly nourished. Kind of like the difference between spiritually making love vs. simply sex.

YOU can decide – today – to make this journey towards peak health your #1 priority.
Until you do you're not fully alive and you've stacked Life's deck against you.

When we choose the way of health and we become a vibrant light for every life you touch.
Every day we either walk the path towards vibrant health or we walk further from it.

I've dedicated the rest of my life to helping you and others like us to awaken to the path and to discover the joy and pleasure of being on it.

I want to continue to inspire you too to be more… for you… for your families… for your friends and all you love.
I wasn't raised in what I call the way of simplerƒitness. But it's rare and it's worthy and our world and each one of us needs it, whatever we call it.

I hope to inspire you to share this journey with me.
My love to you all…

~ James
